On 24 October, the 6th training of professional skills was held in the office building at Longgang Road. People attended the training included Wu Yingxiong, the general director of the company, Zeng Xuzhao, the general engineer, the general director, project managers of tire mold division, vice manager of HR department, workers in the training center, Li Jianian, the vice president of Guangzhou electromechanical technology college, Xie Ke, the director of the training, Pan Liangxing, the vice director, Chen Yixin, the new director of University-Enterprise Office, teachers and over 80 workers received the training. 

In the meeting, Xie Hao, the company’s trainer, introduced the training activities about professional skills: up to 22 October, 2016, Greatoo and Guandzhou electromechanical technology college held the training for five times. With workers at different level from different background and a large number of workers majoring in a subjects different from their jobs, it’s challenging to organize the training. In order to encourage workers to take part in the training, optimize knowledge structure and increase profession capability, the company gave workers subsidies to receive the training by the government subsidies for the company’s expense at professional training. Also, the company awarded workers who received the training and gained the certificates. HR department was responsible for the application for financial subsidies after the training and assessment. The workers in the first and second training got their certificates and subsidies. Up to October 2016, the company gave nearly 200 workers subsidies, of 10,000 yuan, including the training fee and money to buy reading materials. The company invested nearly 1,000 yuan in every works.

There have been 5 training activities since the beginning. About 800 workers were off work and participated in the training lasting from 12 to 16 days in numerically controlled machine tools, numerically milling machine, normal machine tool, normal milling machine and benchwork. The training project made achievements and attracted more and more workers. In the meeting, Wu patiently teach workers how to position enterprises according to the company’s prospects, how to position themselves in their jobs and how to enhance their professional skills and professional quality from “three positioning standard”, that is enterprise positioning, professional enterprises and career positioning. At the end of the meeting, Li Jianian, the vice president of Guangzhou electromechanical technology college showed hgih praise, recognized the achievements of the cooperation between the college and the enterprise, shared his rich teaching experience and encouraged the workers to make more achievements.

The opening ceremony of the 6th training ended in warm applause.
